do yourself a favour
go and get that sketchbook, you know the one,
It lives on the box of untouched paints
and forgotten art supplies.
Make a point of spending 10 minutes a day with it.
Write your thoughts, copy inspirational quotes,
draw your face, the room, your hand,
any object you see or can inagine,
doodle, sketch on location, make a collage, play with colour ...
do not plan what you do, just put the pen on the paper and make your mark.
